Key Responsibilities and Requirements: At least 6 years of Experience working in SQL Server databases Manage SQL Server databases Configure and maintain database servers and processes Monitor system's health and performance Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time Provide suggestions for solutions Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours Experience working 24x7 on-call rotation with your team and respond to incidents; lead triage bridges during incidents and provide needed status updates Understanding of SLA requirements and role of high availability architectures, performance optimization, and monitoring techniques Experience with application instrumentation and monitoring Ability to review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and process and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems. Detailed understanding of business continuity planning and disaster recovery. Demonstrate strong problem solving, communication, organizational time management and multi-tasking skills.
