About the role
About the Role We're looking for an experienced infrastructure-minded engineer who's passionate about improving developer productivity and platform scalability. In this role, you'll help design, build, and automate the foundational systems that power our engineering teams - from code to production. Here's a quick snapshot of what we're looking for: Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java Strong experience with Docker or Kubernetes , solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Deployments Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP Solid understanding Git-based workflows , and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or Pulumi A passion for building self-service developer platforms and improving reliability. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain platform components such as container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes or Nomad), CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and observability tools. Develop self-service tools and abstractions to simplify deployment, scaling, and operations for product engineering teams. Collaborate with developers, architects, and SREs to ensure platform solutions meet their needs and promote best practices around reliability, security, and performance. Write high-quality, reusable code and automation scripts that reduce toil and increase repeatability across environments. Monitor system health and performance; drive improvements in observability, alerting, and incident response. Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to blameless postmortems and reliability improvements. Document platform standards and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to raise platform literacy across the org. Qualifications Required: 5-8 years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure, or DevOps roles. Strong experience with Kubernetes or Nomad, containerization, and related ecosystem tools (e.g., Helm, Traefik, Vault). Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Go, Java). Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS, Azure, or GCP). Deep understanding of CI/CD systems and version control workflows (e.g., GitLab, GitHub Actions). Experience in all aspects of the software development life cycle Solid knowledge of infrastructure-as-code practices using tools like Terraform or Pulumi. Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills across the stack (compute, networking, storage, etc.). Ability to work flexible hours when necessary for deadlines and off-hours installations Preferred: Experience working with GitOps-based workflows. Familiarity with secrets management, service mesh, and RBAC in cloud-native environments. Exposure to monitoring/logging stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or OpenTelemetry. Background in fintech, SaaS, or other high-availability, high-security environments is a plus.
