Job Title - Senior Database Administrator (MS SQL & AWS RDS) Job Type - Remote Experience - 6+ years Job Description - We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to support and maintain our long-standing data platform, ADA (Active Data Archive) . ADA has been operational for nearly a decade, and while a new self-service data storage solution is being planned, we require continued support to ensure stability and seamless functioning of the current environment. Technology Environment The database platform runs on AWS RDS MS SQL Server 2019 (v15) and integrates with the broader ADA ecosystem, which includes: MS SQL Server Alteryx Tableau Windows File Share Key Responsibilities Manage and process access requests for restricted databases Monitor database performance and identify areas of improvement Terminate high-cost or problematic queries Communicate and follow up with users executing resource-intensive operations Optimize overall performance and query efficiency Restore tables and perform recovery tasks as required Guide users and enforce best practices (naming conventions, query standards, etc.) Provide ad hoc support to users across the platform Collaborate with teams managing Alteryx and Fabric platforms Contribute to the development and implementation of an upgraded governance model Assist in the transition and decommissioning of the current database once the new solution is deployed Job Title - Senior Database Administrator (MS SQL & AWS RDS) Job Type - Remote Experience - 6+ years Job Description - We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to support and maintain our long-standing data platform, ADA (Active Data Archive) .
