Job Title: Cloud Data Engineer Experience: 5+ Years Location: Chennai Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role Qeagle is seeking an experienced Cloud Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, enterprise-grade data solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building robust data pipelines, integrating multiple data sources, and delivering high-quality data products that support analytics, reporting, business intelligence, and machine learning initiatives. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Microsoft Azure. Build enterprise-grade data products for analytics, reporting, and business intelligence. Integrate data from databases, APIs, applications, files, and third-party platforms. Develop batch and near real-time data processing solutions. Implement data transformation, validation, cleansing, and enrichment logic. Design and maintain Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Lakehouse solutions. Develop reusable ingestion and transformation frameworks. Ensure data quality, reliability, scalability, and performance of data pipelines. Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational support mechanisms. Collaborate with Data Architects, Analysts, and Business Stakeholders. Support CI/CD implementation for data engineering workloads. Troubleshoot production issues and optimize cloud resource utilization. Maintain technical documentation and architecture diagrams. Mandatory Skills 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Cloud Data Engineering. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Data Services. Advanced SQL skills. Strong programming experience in Python and PySpark. Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF). Experience with Azure Databricks. Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics. Experience with Data Lakes, Data Warehousing, and Lakehouse Architecture. Experience with REST API integrations. Strong understanding of Data Quality and Data Governance. Experience working with structured and unstructured data. Technical Skills Microsoft Fabric Delta Lake Azure Functions Azure Event Hubs / Kafka Azure SQL Database Azure DevOps GitHub Terraform Docker Kubernetes Apache Spark Power BI Integration Microsoft Purview Qualification Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or related discipline. Azure Data Engineer certifications are an added advantage
