Senior BIM Engineer MEP

Position: Sr. BIM Engineer (MEP & Fire Protection) Company: QeCAD Website: www.qecad.com LinkedIn Profile: https://www.linkedin.com/company/aceqe/ Experience: 3+ Years Work Mode: On-Site (Ahmedabad) Job Description: Review and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Piping, and Fire Protection BIM models. Prepare, review, and deliver high-quality BIM project deliverables for MEP & Fire Protection disciplines. Coordinate BIM projects and ensure compliance with company standards and workflows. Manage BIM processes, including worksets, shared parameters, templates, sheets, and naming conventions. Audit and review models using Autodesk Revit and Navisworks Manage. Create Revit families, templates, and system components. Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings, quantity take-offs, and material schedules. Perform clash detection and create search sets using Navisworks Manage. Coordinate with BIM Managers, Project Managers, and Engineers to ensure timely project delivery. Participate in design reviews and contribute to process improvements and team development. Education & Background: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering. Relevant BIM/Revit certifications will be an added advantage. Skills & Proficiencies: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, BIM 360, and Collaboration for Revit. Strong knowledge of MEP & Fire Protection BIM workflows. Experience in clash detection, model coordination, and BIM standards. Ability to prepare shop drawings and quantity take-offs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent English communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills. Strong organizational, decision-making, and teamwork abilities.
