About the role
Job Description: We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong expertise in modern ABAP development, including Core Data Services (CDS Views) and OData services , to design and build scalable SAP solutions, especially in S/4HANA environments. Role &Responsibilities Develop and enhance SAP applications using ABAP (RICEF objects) Design and implement CDS Views for data modeling and reporting Build and expose SAP data via OData Services using SAP Gateway Work on S/4HANA optimization and code pushdown techniques Develop and maintain: Reports (ALV, Interactive) Interfaces (IDoc, RFC, Web Services) Enhancements (User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancements Framework) Forms (SmartForms, Adobe Forms) Integrate SAP with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs Optimize performance using HANA-specific features Collaborate with functional teams (FI, MM, SD, etc.) to translate business requirements into technical solutions Troubleshoot and debug issues in production systems Required Skills Strong experience in ABAP programming Hands-on experience with: CDS Views (basic, composite, consumption views) OData development (SEGW, annotations, SAP Gateway) Knowledge of ABAP on HANA Experience with: Data Dictionary (DDIC) Object-Oriented ABAP Performance tuning (SQL trace, runtime analysis) Understanding of SAP modules (any of FI/MM/SD) Preferred Skills Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 applications Knowledge of RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) Exposure to BTP (Business Technology Platform) Familiarity with Annotations in CDS for UI consumption Experience in AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science / IT / related field 48 years of SAP ABAP experience (depending on role level) Good to Have S/4HANA implementation or migration experience Agile/Scrum project experience
