About the role
Senior Platform Test Engineer (SDET Security, Performance & Resilience) About the Role As a Senior Security Test Engineer, you will be responsible for validating the security, reliability, and performance of the platform. This role combines advanced security testing with platform test automation, ensuring that the entire security pipelinefrom request processing and cryptographic verification to distributed services and backend integrationsfunctions correctly under normal operation, failure conditions, and real-world attack scenarios. You will design and execute automated functional, cryptographic, adversarial, resilience, and performance tests, working closely with platform engineers to identify vulnerabilities, verify security controls, and ensure the platform meets production-grade quality, scalability, and security standards. The ideal candidate has solid expertise in Python test automation, asynchronous systems, applied cryptography, offensive security, and performance engineering. Key Responsibilities Pipeline Functional Testing - Develop and maintain automated test suites for the complete six-stage security pipeline. - Validate request routing, filtering, and forwarding logic across all pipeline stages. - Test deception layers, firewall rules, connector behavior, and authentication workflows. - Verify asynchronous request processing and backend integrations. - Build unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end test suites using Python. Cryptographic Verification - Validate HMAC request signing and rolling authentication windows. - Verify HKDF-derived key generation and rotation. - Test hybrid post-quantum cryptographic implementations. - Validate threshold signing workflows and audit chain integrity. - Execute deterministic cryptographic test vectors and replay protection tests. Security & Adversarial Testing - Design and execute offensive security test campaigns against protected services. - Validate detection and mitigation of common web attacks i .
