Postgres Sql DBA

We are looking for a skilled PostgreSQL DBA with strong experience in database administration, monitoring, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and replication. The candidate should have a good understanding of PostgreSQL database operations and should be capable of handling production database environments. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain PostgreSQL databases across development, staging, and production environments. Perform database monitoring, health checks, log analysis, and performance analysis to ensure high availability and stability. Configure and manage PostgreSQL replication, including streaming replication and replication lag monitoring. Support database backup and recovery activities, including scheduled backups, restore testing, and disaster recovery planning. Monitor database performance and optimize slow-running queries, indexes, vacuuming, and database parameters. Troubleshoot database-related issues, including connectivity, locks, deadlocks, replication failures, storage issues, and performance bottlenecks. Ensure database security through user access management, roles, permissions, and best practices. Work with application, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to support deployments and production issues. Prepare and maintain database documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
