About the role
As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will be part of a leading technology innovator that drives digital transformation to create a smarter, connected future for all. You will collaborate with various teams to design system-level software solutions and develop cutting-edge products that exceed customer needs. Responsibilities: - Develop and commercialize ML solutions like Snapdragon Neural Processing Engine (SNPE) SDK on Qualcomm SoCs - Enable AI/ML stack on various platforms and optimize performance on multiple hardware accelerators - Deploy large software C/C++ dependency stacks following best practices - Stay updated with industry and academia developments to enhance solutions from a software engineering and machine learning perspective Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of Software Engineering experience OR Master's degree with 1+ year of experience OR PhD in a related field - 2+ years of experience with Programming Languages like C, C++, Java, Python - 2-6 years of software experience with 1+ year focused on LLM/Generative AI systems - Strong Python programming skills with hands-on experience in C/C++ - Knowledge of embeddings, vector databases, and similarity search - Familiarity with LLM providers like OpenAI, Anthropic - Background in mathematical operations including linear algebra, fast-math libraries - Basic understanding of Processor architecture, memory hierarchies, cache, system design fundamentals - Knowledge of object-oriented software development - Familiarity with parallel computing systems and languages like OpenCL, CUDA is a plus Join the Qualcomm team dedicated to advancing Machine Learning with state-of-the-art technology.
