About the role
As an IT Software Developer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be required to have a strong proficiency in Python and RESTful API development. You should also have hands-on experience with Angular for building dynamic and responsive UI. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing support for projects by completing tasks for back-end/front-end applications, associated integration, and required test harnesses based on design. - Writing reliable, testable, and maintainable code under some supervision. - Completing assigned technical tasks for system integrations and APIs under some supervision. - Completing assigned technical tasks for the design, build, and deployment of pipelines that handle the software lifecycle under some supervision. - Executing tasks to meet project deliverables and associated deadlines for the software development process. - Regularly discussing issues within the project team to maintain open communication. - Networking with more senior IT Software Developers and seeking out learning opportunities to increase your knowledge, skill, and overall expertise in the IT Software Development field. - Contributing to technical conversations with technical leads/managers. - Writing technical documentation for straightforward projects under the direction of a supervisor. Your qualifications should include: - 24 years of experience in developing enterprise-level web applications using Python and Angular. - Strong background in object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and design principles. - Expertise in Python, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Angular for building scalable applications. - Experience in debugging, testing, and performance tuning of web applications. - Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases (Oracle/MySQL/Postgres). - Ability to work in an Agile development environment and deliver high-quality solutions. - Knowledge of enterprise systems, their interactions, and boundaries within large-scale architectures. - Understanding of complex data models and integration patterns. - Willingness to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. - Strong sense of ownership and ability to drive tasks to completion. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems) OR Bachelors degree in a non-technical field (e.g., Business, Humanities, Marketing) and 1+ year of IT-relevant experience OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of IT-relevant experience. - 2+ years of any combination of academic or work experience with programming (e.g., Java, Python, etc.). - 1+ year of any combination of academic or work experience with Data Structures, algorithms, and data stores. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. - 2+ years of IT-relevant work experience.
