Qualcomm India Private Limited is looking for a Software Engineer to join their team focused on advancing state-of-the-art in Machine Learning. As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs. You will collaborate with various teams to design system-level software solutions that meet and exceed customer needs. Your work will directly influence billions of devices around the world. Responsibilities: - Develop and commercialize ML solutions like Snapdragon Neural Processing Engine (SNPE) SDK on Qualcomm SoCs - Enable AI/ML stack on various platforms and optimize performance on multiple hardware accelerators - Have expert knowledge in deployment aspects of large software C/C++ dependency stacks - Keep up with the fast-paced development in industry and academia to enhance solutions from a software engineering and machine learning standpoint Requirements: - Experience: 2-6 years in software, with 1+ year focused on LLM/Generative AI systems - Skills: Strong Python programming with C/C++ hands-on, LLM API testing experience, familiarity with LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) - AI Knowledge: Understanding of embeddings, vector databases, and similarity search - Tools: Experience with LLM evaluation frameworks and automation tools Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of Processor architecture, memory hierarchies, cache, and system design fundamentals - Basic OS concepts, multithreading, synchronization, posix threads - Knowledge of object-oriented software development - Background in mathematical operations: linear algebra, fast-math libraries - Floating-point, Fixed-point representations and Quantization concepts - Knowledge of parallel computing systems and associated languages like OpenCL, CUDA, etc. is a plus Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing accessible processes for individuals with disabilities.
