As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs that launch cuttingedge, worldclass products that meet and exceed customer needs. Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design systemlevel software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces. Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. Masters degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience. 2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. Key Responsibilities Design and implement RAGbased (RetrievalAugmented Generation) solutions to enhance LLM capabilities. Develop and optimize LLM finetuning strategies for domainspecific adaptation (e.g., Wireless/5G). Build and maintain agentic workflows for autonomous, multistep AI systems. Create robust evaluation frameworks to measure and iterate on model performance. Implement advanced models and autonomous workflows that power our agentic applications. Focus areas: RAG, Model Finetuning, and Agentic Workflows. Requirements Experience: 1-8 years in AI/Machine Learning engineering. Technical Stack: Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and Vector Databases (Milvus, Pinecone, etc.). AI Specialization: Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, and Transformers. Knowledge of prompt engineering and Reinforcement Learning is highly valued. Education: Bachelors in CS/Engineering; Masters with ML specialization preferred.
