Software Testing Engineer

As a Tester in this role, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, functional specifications, and design documents. You will create, review, and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans. Additionally, you will perform functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and system testing to ensure the quality of desktop-based applications across different environments, especially Windows-based. Your key responsibilities will include: - Analyzing business requirements, functional specifications, and design documents - Creating, reviewing, and executing detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans - Performing functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and system testing - Validating desktop-based applications across different environments - Identifying, logging, tracking, and verifying defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar - Working closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to clarify requirements - Participating in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives - Ensuring test coverage and maintaining test documentation - Conducting UAT support and ensuring readiness for production releases Qualifications required for this role: - Strong experience in functional/manual testing (46 years) - Hands-on experience in testing desktop applications (Windows-based preferred) - Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC - Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) - Knowledge of SQL for basic data validation - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Good communication and documentation skills If you join our team, you will need to possess strong communication skills and be proficient in Agile methodologies.
