Senior Automation Test Engineer

In this role as a Senior Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for web, mobile, and API applications. Your expertise in tools such as UiPath, Appium, API Testing, Automation Testing, Rest Assured, JAVA, Python, and Rest API will be essential for ensuring the quality of the software products. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks for web, mobile, and API applications. - Create and execute automated test scripts using: - Selenium WebDriver for web applications - Appium for mobile applications (Android & iOS) - Rest Assured for API automation - Develop, execute, and maintain API test suites including validation of request/response, status codes, and schema. - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to define test strategies. - Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or similar. - Perform regression, functional, integration, and API testing. - Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.). - Ensure test coverage, reliability, and maintainability of automation suites. - Conduct code reviews and mentor junior QA engineers. - Continuously improve testing processes and automation efficiency. Required Skills & Experience: Core Skills: - 5+ years of experience in QA Automation Testing - Strong expertise in: - Selenium WebDriver - Appium (mobile automation) - API Automation using Rest Assured - Proficiency in programming languages: - Java (preferred) / Python / JavaScript - Experience with frameworks: - TestNG / JUnit / PyTest / Mocha Technical Expertise: - Hands-on experience with: - Page Object Model (POM), Data-Driven & Hybrid frameworks - Strong experience in: - REST API validation (JSON/XML parsing) This position requires a solid foundation in automation testing, programming languages, and frameworks to ensure the successful execution of test strategies and the delivery of high-quality software products.
