About the role
Design and execute test cases covering the complete personal loan onboarding journey, from application initiation through to loan approval and disbursement. Validate onboarding flows separately for Islamic and Conventional personal loan products, ensuring Shariah-compliant journey variations are correctly handled. Test Business Rule Engine (BRE) rules used to validate loan eligibility, including income criteria, debt burden ratio, and product-specific eligibility conditions. Verify credit history and credit score evaluation logic, including integration with AECB or other UAE credit bureau checks, and confirm correct approval/decline/condition outcomes. Test compliance checks including verification against bad debt history, default history, and fraud records. Validate screening against negative/blacklist databases maintained by the bank and the Central Bank of the UAE for customer name and identity genuineness verification. Validate end-to-end customer eligibility logic across multiple onboarding stages, including document verification and income assessment. Collaborate with business analysts and developers to clarify BRE rule configurations, decision logic, and exception scenarios. Log, track, and retest defects through to closure, and contribute to test strategy, test data preparation, and regression suites.
