About the role
Responsibilities will include: code, test, debug, implement, and document complex software programs. Design systems and programs to meet complex business needs. Gather information from existing systems and analyze program and time requirements. Design programs for projects or enhancements to existing programs. Assist and support project personnel in resolving moderately complex program problems. Work with client and management to resolve issues and validate programming requirements within areas of responsibility. Provide technical advice on complex programming. Develop test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs. Skills: Conduct quality assurance activities including peer reviews. Create documentation appropriate for each work assignments, such as program code and technical documentation. Remain abreast of industry technical trends and new development to maintain current skills and remain current with industry standards. Utilize experience in JavaScript, XSL, CSS, XML, jQuery, Ajax, JSON and working in a Perl environment. Position requires a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field plus two (2) years of experience in a related occupation.
