Job Title: UI Lead Developer (React.js) Location: Remote Experience Required: 5+ Years Employment Type: Part time About the Role: We are looking for a UI Lead Developer with a strong background in React.js and front-end architecture to lead the development of cutting-edge user interfaces. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in modern front-end frameworks and capable of developing responsive, high-performance web applications that communicate effectively with backend systems, and exposure to AI-powered tools. Key Responsibilities: - Lead UI development efforts using React.js, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability. - Collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and backend developers. - Translate business requirements and user feedback into intuitive and responsive user interfaces. - Build and maintain component libraries, design systems, and reusable UI frameworks. - Optimize front-end performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility. - Implement and manage Service Workers to enable offline capability and improve application reliability in low or no connectivity environments. - Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring to junior developers. - Explore and implement AI-powered development tools or code editors to improve productivity and code quality. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years of experience in front-end development, with strong expertise in React.js and modern JavaScript. - Deep understanding of component-based architecture and state management libraries (Redux, Context API, etc.). - Experience with frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel, Vite), REST APIs, and CI/CD pipeline. Solid experience in API integration (REST/GraphQL) and handling asynchronous data flow (Axios, Fetch, etc.) - Exposure to AI-driven code editors (e.g., GitHub Copilot, TabNine, CodeWhisperer) or similar tooling. - Hands-on experience with Service Workers for enabling application offline capability and progressive web app (PWA) features. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. - Background in mentoring or leading UI teams in agile environments.
