Quantitative Data Analyst

As a Quantitative Developer / Analyst at QRT's Data Search & Analytics team, your responsibilities will include: - Sourcing, designing, and onboarding new datasets based on trading desks' priorities. - Becoming an expert on QRT's internal tools to enhance efficiency for relevant desks using data in trading systems production. - Proactively resolving data-related issues to expedite time to production. - Managing the complete lifecycle of data sourcing projects, including data acquisition, exploration, engineering, prototyping, and production. Qualifications required for this role: - Advanced degree in a quantitative field like data science, statistics, mathematics, physics, or engineering. - Proficiency in programming with Python; knowledge of C/C, C# is an added advantage. - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer/Analyst/Scientist. - Previous experience working with commodities data is essential. - Ability to work autonomously within a global team of researchers and data engineers. - Familiarity with Bloomberg/Reuters data ecosystems. - Strong interest in financial markets, data analysis, and programming. - Fast learner with intellectual curiosity and problem-solving skills. - Capable of thriving in a high-performance, fast-paced environment. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
