About the role
Role & responsibilities : Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and IICS. Develop mappings, sessions, workflows, taskflows, and reusable components. Extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems into enterprise data warehouses. Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical ETL solutions. Optimize ETL jobs for performance and troubleshoot production issues. Implement data validation, error handling, and reconciliation processes. Work with Data Warehousing models including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema. Develop and execute SQL queries for data analysis, validation, and performance tuning. Use Unix/Linux commands and shell scripts to automate ETL processes and manage files. Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, DBAs, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle. Support production deployments and provide post-deployment maintenance. Preferred candidate profile : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience in Informatica PowerCenter development. Hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS). Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL concepts, and Data Warehousing. Good understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting. Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or other relational databases. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
