Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities: Demonstrate expertise in optimization, classic machine learning, SQL, Python, and retail business acumen to develop and deploy data-driven solutions in retail contexts. • Independently design and develop new algorithms to address well-defined retail problems and enhance existing analytical models. • Collaborate with product teams to implement new modules, maintain production pipelines, and ensure timely releases with high quality. • Create proof of concepts (POCs) to explore new ideas and technologies, promoting innovation within retail analytics. • Work closely with Data Engineering, Advisory, and Product teams to identify areas for process improvement and drive effective data science workflows. • Apply retail and merchandising knowledge to solve challenges related to inventory management, assortment planning, supply chain, and pricing. • Communicate findings and insights effectively to internal and external stakeholders, facilitating data-driven decision-making across business units. The Senior Data Scientist position requires 5 to 7 years of experience with strong skills in data science, optimization, classic machine learning, SQL, Python, and business acumen in retail.
