Job Requirements Automotive Infotainment Lead Function Owner - Connectivity

Role Summary
Lead the concept, development, and release of the connectivity (projection, telephony, wlan) functional areas across head-unit and infotainment architectures and multiple vehicle programs. Act as the technical authority and single coordination contact toward the customer and development suppliers, owning area-level delivery and the weekly cadence.
Key Responsibilities

Define and submit the long-term development concept for the assigned functional areas at key vehicle milestones.

Author and approve detailed functional and technical specifications and prepare them for customer sign-off.

Own milestone planning and track delivery with development suppliers.

Manage open points, change requests, and defect resolution end to end, including feasibility assessment and formal release recommendations.

Chair weekly status meetings, maintain the open-point list, and produce management-level decision material.

Coordinate the onsite and offshore team members for the functional area and act as the primary point of contact.
Work Experience Required Skills

Deep domain knowledge of connectivity (projection, telephony, wlan) within automotive infotainment.

Requirements engineering and ALM discipline, including specification authoring and traceability.

Automotive E/E architecture and vehicle bus knowledge.

Strong supplier, stakeholder, and small-team coordination.

Tools and systems: DOORS and Codebeamer for requirements and ALM; JIRA and Confluence for tracking and documentation; release management system; engineering-change, parts-ordering, and document management systems; Power BI for status reporting. Standards: ASPICE, V-model, ISO 26262, UNECE R155/R156, CSMS/SUMS.
Good to Have

Functional safety and cybersecurity release-gate exposure (ISO 26262, UNECE R155/R156).

Experience coordinating mixed onsite and offshore delivery.

Familiarity with AOSP/AAOS-based infotainment platforms.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related engineering.
