Role Summary

Execute system level functional tests on infotainment units in vehicles and on test benches from the end-user perspective, and record results and defects.

Key Responsibilities

● Execute functional, connectivity, media, phone, audio, HMI and stability test cases on benches and in vehicles.

● Test connectivity with iOS and Android mobile devices, connected-vehicle mobile applications and their integration with vehicle functions.

● Perform user and long-term tests, including reset, mileage and hard-to-reproduce defects.

● Run initial testing of newly delivered software releases and re-test defects from previous milestones.

● Record results and maintain reset and defect statistics.

Work Experience Required Skills

● Hands-on automotive infotainment or consumer-electronics test execution.

● Understanding of infotainment functions: audio, Bluetooth, phone, media, navigation, HMI and connectivity.

● Knowledge of automotive architectures and buses (CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet).

● Tools and systems: JIRA and Codebeamer for test and defect management, DOORS for requirements, Confluence and SharePoint; offboard diagnostic, flashing and coding tools; trace and log analysis tools.

Good to Have

● Test automation exposure (Python).

● Familiarity with AAOS and AOSP.

Education

Diploma or Bachelor's in electronics, electrical, computer or automotive engineering.
