About the role
Role Overview: As a Firmware Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and providing technical support to global stakeholders for firmware development and enhancement. Your responsibilities will include understanding customer requirements, designing and developing firmware applications, testing and integrating features, and ensuring customer satisfaction through quality and timely deliveries. Key Responsibilities: - Understand and analyze requirements received, assist in necessary documentation, and finalize the scope of work. - Design, develop, review, modify, test, implement, install, and support firmware applications for microcontroller-based devices. - Support existing firmware code implementation and resolve on-field issues encountered. - Develop and maintain firmware for efficient controlling of electromechanical interfaces such as motors or analog sensors. - Design test cases for feature testing and collaborate with software and hardware teams to enhance product performance. - Utilize your technical competencies in communication networks, embedded software development using C and C++, HMI, testing and debugging equipment, software & tools expertise, and handling electromechanical interfaces. - Demonstrate good analytical and logical skills, and be a team player. Qualification Required: - BE/B Tech or equivalent degree. - Minimum 3+ years of work experience in a relevant technical domain. Additional Details: Nice to have knowledge about Cybersecurity.
