Job Requirements Position Title: Power Systems Study Engineer

Experience Required: 3–6 years
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a focus on Power Engineering or equivalent.
Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Power Systems Study Engineer to perform detailed studies of electrical power systems, ensuring optimal system design, reliability, and compliance with international standards. The candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive power system analyses, interpreting results, and applying them in practical engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Power System Studies, including:
• Load Flow Analysis • Short Circuit Analysis • Harmonic Analysis • Insulation Coordination Studies • DC and AC Fault Analysis

Define and configure parameters of individual subsystems for accurate study representation.

Analyze and interpret electrical data, providing actionable insights for system design and improvement.

Develop, validate, and maintain models using software tools such as Matlab, Simulink, and PSCAD.

Ensure all studies comply with international standards such as IEEE, IEC, and BS Standards.

Collaborate with project teams to integrate study results into system design modifications.

Provide technical support and recommendations for power system reliability, safety, and performance optimization

Prepare clear, detailed reports and presentations for engineering, management, and clients.
Required Skills and Competencies:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Expertise in Power System Modeling and Simulation. • Proficiency in Matlab, Simulink, and PSCAD. • In-depth knowledge of IEC, IEEE, and BS standards. • Experience defining technical specifications and subsystem parameters for system-level analysis.
