About the role
Job Description: You will be responsible for providing technical support to customers on various workflows assigned. Your role will involve participating in and presenting engineering and technical solutions to different stakeholders. You will also be reviewing P&IDs, layouts, specifications, and other instrument documents. Key Responsibilities: - Possess 3-8 years of experience in Plant Operations, Maintenance, and Instrumentation Reliability. - Demonstrate familiarity with hazardous area classification, P&ID, Fire & Gas Layout diagrams, Cause & Effect Diagrams, Safe charts, etc. - Conduct calibration of all field instruments such as Transmitters, Switches, Valves, Fire and Gas detectors, Analyzers, etc. - Have hands-on experience in DCS, ESDs, SIS, PLCs, Fire and gas detection systems. - Be aware of various field instrument selection and installation guidelines. - Understand equipment criticality assessment and have knowledge of SIL assessment (an added advantage). - Be familiar with ISA, IEC, ASME, CE, and other related standards. - Preferably have working experience in SAP, PM, and MM Modules. - Analyze the performance of field instruments and alarms. - Work independently and complete assigned tasks efficiently. - Possess fluent English written and oral communication skills. - Exhibit good interpersonal skills and collaborate effectively with other teams. Qualification Required: - B.E/B.Tech in Instrumentation with 1-5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas/Petrochemicals/LNG industry. Preferred Skills: - Proficiency in MS Office suites (Excel, Word, Powerpoint). - Familiarity with Tableau, PowerBI, SPI InTools, exSILentia, SIL solver will be an added advantage.
