Microservice Api Tester (Thiruvananthapuram)

Job Requirements - Design, develop, and execute automated tests for microservice APIs. - Implement and maintain test frameworks using JavaScript/TypeScript. - Develop and execute test cases based on Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) principles. - Identify, document, and track bugs to ensure timely resolution. - Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of the system. - Analyse test results and provide detailed reports on the quality of the microservices. - Continuously improve test strategies and processes to enhance test coverage and efficiency. - Collaborate with development teams to understand the architecture and design of microservices. Work Experience - API Testing: Strong experience in testing gRpc ,MQTT, WebSocket, and REST APIs. - JavaScript/TypeScript: Proficiency in writing automated tests using JavaScript or TypeScript. - BDD Framework: Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber, JBehave, or SpecFlow. - Familiarity with tools like Postman, Swagger, JMeter, MQTT-Spy, Bloom Rpc or similar API testing tools. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the build process. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Proven track record of working in an Agile/Scrum workplace. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 6 + years of experience in API testing and automation. .
