About the role
Job Requirements Roles & Responsibilities:
• Oversee the overall engagement with a robust governance system from Technical perspective. • Provide guidance to technical managers & technical leads in the right direction. • Utilize technical expertise to secure more projects through ongoing and pilot initiatives. • Assist in evaluating the technical capabilities of team members. • Comprehend customer requirements and onboard suitable talents to deliver projects as needed. • Provide day-to-day engineering support to team working on various projects in process engineering space (on need basis) • Support training and competency development, including identification of training needs, development of technical training materials. • Actively support and participate in RCA investigations, identifying root causes, defining corrective and preventive actions, and driving closure with site stakeholders. • Accountable for quality of team deliverables at program level. • Oversee efforts and identify the opportunities to align strategic program • Cultivate strong relationships with clients. • Foster an environment that promotes the development of talent. • Review priority and make business driven decision
Work Experience Qualification:
• B. Tech / M. Tech in Chemical engineering from reputed university • 20+ years’ experience with refinery background
Required Skills:
• Background of Process Engineering and thorough hands on experience of Refinery operations • Proven ability to solve problems across multi-functional and multi-cultural groups within and outside facilities • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders is crucial for success in this role. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong analytical skills will allow you to analyze complex data sets, identify patterns, and make data-driven decisions. • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex data sets. Meticulous attention to detail is necessary to ensure data accuracy and integrity. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Should be able to work autonomously and take ownership, while also being a team player and collaborating effectively with colleagues. • Proven ability to continuously improve systems and processes
Good to have:
• Exposure to Process Simulation tools like ASPEN HYSYS and/or PRO-II, HTRI • Exposure to dynamic simulation, LP Modelling etc.
