Mobile Application Development We are looking for a senior mobile app developer to lead the design, development and maintenance of Android apps. The developer will lead the entire app life cycle right from concept stage until delivery and post launch support. Required skill sets qualities Proven mobile application development experience, with published examples of mobile applications in the market Strong OO design and programming skills in Java Expertise in Android SDK, ADK, SQLite internal architecture Phone Gap and other frameworks Location-based services development and Google Map API Web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML) Using social media APIs and integration Excellent debugging and optimization skills Excellent testing/ QA skills Excellent time-management, multi-tasking, and communication skills Self-starter, who is able to collaborate actively with others in a cross-functional team Ability to deal with ambiguity and change Roll-up your sleeves' attitude to get things done JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Be a lead Android developer for the team Deliver across the entire app life cycle concept, design, build, deploy, test, release in app stores and support Work directly with developers and product managers to conceptualize, build, test and realize products Create compelling device specific user interfaces and experiences Work closely with and incorporate feedback from product management and interaction designers Optimizing performance for the apps Be a technical reference and mentor for the rest of the team Keep up-to-date on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologies EXPERIENCE Minimum 3 years experience on mobile application development Expertise in implementing location-based services Expertise in transportation domain will be an added advantage
