About the role

As a Customer Data Engineer at the company, you will play a crucial role in building robust data pipelines, supporting customer data needs, and ensuring high data quality across the organization. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your contributions directly impact customer insights. Key Responsibilities: - Build, monitor, and optimize complex data pipelines to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and readiness for analytics and customer sharing. - Collaborate with customers and internal teams to understand their data needs for analytics and data science models. - Take ownership of data quality by actively resolving data issues and ensuring data integrity for end-users and customers. - Document and refine data workflows to enhance processes and quality standards for customer data solutions. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a relevant technical field or equivalent. - 3-5 years of experience primarily working with data in analytics engineering or data engineering. - Strong proficiency in SQL and experience in data transformation and optimization. - Expertise in Python for building pipeline automation, logging, and debugging. - Strong knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning. - Experience with data pipeline and ETL tools such as Airflow and Prefect. - Familiarity with cloud data solutions like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. - Proficiency in business intelligence tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, and Streamlit/Plotly for data presentation. - Understanding of data science and machine learning principles and workflows. As a bonus, you may have exposure to the Aviation and Maritime domains, connectivity and content engineering, and business knowledge.
