Safety Engineer

Role & responsibilities Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Identify potential hazards related to machinery, electrical systems, and chemical operations, applying engineering controls to minimize risks. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects and operations align with local, state, and international safety guidelines. Safety Design: Evaluate project blueprints and system designs to ensure safety is built-in from the drawing board, rather than just managed on-site. Incident Investigation: Analyze near-misses and accidents to determine the root cause, formulating solutions to prevent reoccurrence. Training & Documentation: Conduct worker safety inductions, toolbox meetings, and emergency response drills, while maintaining logs of safety inspections and corrective actions.
