UI / UX Architect

Role: UI / UX Architect

We are looking for a creative and passionate UI/UX architect to structure, improve and standardize user experience around our website / web application usability, conduct proof of technology and define UI/UX standards.

Job description & responsibilities:

Partner with business partners and end users on slew of applications to understand requirements, research and evaluate usability needs

Create UX and information lifecycle for user experience across different applications, platforms and form factors

Create standards for UI/UX including usability best practices, styles, components etc.

Understand and create information architecture & flow

Develop and provide interactive design

Develop innovative design concepts for compass applications.

Evaluate technology by building proof of technology with usability and performance in mind and define standards for UI stack.

Partner with project/scrum teams to present the proof of technology and help them with implementation

Collaborate with peer architects, contribute to peer reviews and educate the team on learnings from proof of technology

Analyse the behaviours and patterns of users to improve overall functionality.

Understand how the end user will interact with the platform and develop the structure and flow to make that possible

Develop wireframes, prototypes and perform user research and testing

Conduct reviews and make sure standards are followed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology

• 5 - 7 years of experience in UI/UX development

• 2+ years of experience as a UI/UX architect.

• Solid grasp of user research, information architecture, interaction design, and content strategy to clearly communicate to teams and clients

• Extensive UI Development skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Have a flexible approach and be creative.

• Excellent team player

Skills: The UX Architect should have software proficiency in following

• Adobe XD

• PowerPoint

• Protyping / Wireframing

• HTML / CSS

• JavaScript

• Framework and libraries like Angular & React

• Exposure to 3 rd party controls
