Software Tester

Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing and developing comprehensive UI test cases, scenarios, and scripts for both manual and automation testing. You will conduct end-to-end testing, including functional, regression, smoke, API, and performance testing, utilizing manual and automated testing methods. Additionally, you will troubleshoot and debug manual and automation scripts and systems to ensure accuracy and reliability. Your role will involve collaborating with Agile teams to define the test strategy and integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop UI test cases, scenarios, and scripts for manual and automation testing - Conduct end-to-end testing including functional, regression, smoke, API, and performance testing - Utilize Bugzilla and JIRA for efficient defect tracking - Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of SQL for effective database testing - Troubleshoot and debug manual and automation scripts and systems - Provide technical guidance and conduct code reviews - Continuously monitor test results, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements - Collaborate with Agile teams to define test strategy and integrate automated testing - Document automation processes, methodologies, and configurations - Create documentation throughout the SDLC and TDLC - Multitask, prioritize work effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment Qualification Required: - Must have a 4-year Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or a 3-year Bachelor's degree in CS/IT with a Master's degree in CS/IT - Should have above 60% in overall academics - Certification in Software Testing is mandatory Additional Company Details: - Location: Baner, Pune (WFO) - Working Days: 6 days working - Shift: Day/Night - Joining Date: Immediate - Interview Process: Virtual - Salary: 1.8 LPA - System Requirement: Candidate must have their own laptop/system (Note: Good-to-have skills, foundational understanding of programming languages like Java/C/C++, proficient in SQL for database testing, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, personal laptop/system, good communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team) Please note that applications for this position are no longer being accepted.
