Radix Dies Moulds Pvt Ltd is looking for Mould Designer to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey As a Mould Designer, you will be responsible for creating and designing molds used in the manufacturing process Your role will involve collaborating with engineers, product designers, and manufacturing teams to develop effective and efficient mold designs that meet quality and production standards Responsibilities:Designing Molds:Create 2D and 3D designs for molds using computer-aided design (CAD) software Ensure that the mold design is suitable for the intended product, considering factors such as material flow, cooling, and ejection Collaboration:Work closely with product designers, engineers, and manufacturing teams to understand product specifications and requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address design challenges and optimize mold performance Prototyping and Testing:Develop prototypes and conduct testing to evaluate the functionality and efficiency of mold designs Analyze test results and make necessary adjustments to improve mold performance Material Selection:Choose appropriate materials for mold construction, considering factors such as durability, heat resistance, and cost-effectiveness Cost Estimation:Provide cost estimates for mold design and production, taking into account materials, labor, and other associated expenses Documentation:Create detailed design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and instructions for mold fabrication Quality Assurance:Ensure that mold designs meet quality and safety standards Collaborate with quality control teams to address any issues related to mold performance Continuous Improvement:Stay informed about advancements in molding technology and incorporate innovative solutions into mold designs Continuously improve and optimize existing molds for better efficiency and cost-effectiveness
