Position: Java Kafka API Developer Location: Gurgaon (Hybrid) Experience: 56 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Budget: 1820 LPA (Flexible) Notice Period: Immediate Joiners, max 10 days (Serving notice) Interview Mode: Virtual Previous MNC Exp About the Role We are looking for an experienced Java Kafka API Developer to design and develop scalable, event-driven enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Apache Kafka, REST APIs, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS, with hands-on experience in building high-performance distributed systems. Mandatory Skills - Java 8/11/17 - Apache Kafka - REST API Development - Spring Boot & Microservices - AWS Cloud - SQL & Database Design - Docker & Kubernetes - Git & CI/CD - JUnit & Mockito - Agile/Scrum Roles & Responsibilities - Design and develop scalable Java-based enterprise applications using Spring Boot. - Develop, enhance, and maintain RESTful APIs and Microservices. - Build and manage Kafka Producers, Consumers, and event-driven messaging solutions. - Design and implement high-performance event streaming architectures. - Integrate internal and third-party APIs with enterprise applications. - Develop cloud-native applications and deploy solutions on AWS. - Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. - Build containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. - Write clean, reusable, secure, and maintainable code following best practices. - Perform code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions. - Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis. - Implement logging, monitoring, and performance tuning for applications. - Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Architects, and Business teams throughout the SDLC. - Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives. - Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and enterprise architecture. Requirements - 57 years of hands-on experience in Java application development. - Robust expertise in Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture. - Extensive experience with Spring Boot and Microservices. - Hands-on experience designing and consuming REST APIs. - Positive exposure to AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, SQS/SNS, and CloudWatch. - Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. - Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration. - Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines. - Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred - Experience with Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, and Avro. - Knowledge of MongoDB, Redis, or other NoSQL databases. - Exposure to API Gateway, OAuth2, JWT, and API security standards. - Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code tools. - Financial Services or Insurance domain experience is an advantage. - Previous experience working with large enterprise/MNC organizations.
