Role Description The Solution Architect Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City. This role involves leading the functional design and configuration of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations modules, translating business requirements into scalable solutions. The consultant will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct workshops, and create functional specifications, process flows, and documentation. Day-to-day activities include system configuration, testing, support during implementation, and coordination with technical teams on integrations, customizations, and data migration. The role also includes providing end-user training, troubleshooting functional issues, recommending best practices, and contributing to continuous improvement of finance and operations processes. Qualifications Strong functional expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, including core finance and supply chain modules, with experience in solution design and configuration.Proficiency in business process analysis and requirements gathering, with the ability to translate stakeholder needs into clear functional specifications and system workflows.Experience in implementation lifecycle activities such as fit-gap analysis, testing (unit, integration, UAT), data migration support, and go-live/post-go-live support.Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and operational processes (procurement, inventory, production, projects) relevant to D365 F&O.Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams on integrations, customizations, performance optimization, and environment management.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to conduct workshops, train end users, and document processes and solutions clearly.Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a cross-functional team environment, manage multiple priorities, and deliver within agreed timelines.Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant Microsoft Dynamics certifications are a strong advantage.Prior experience as a Functional Consultant or Solution Architect on multiple D365 F&O or AX implementation projects is highly desirable.Exposure to industry best practices, compliance requirements, and change management in enterprise environments will be beneficial.
