Senior Solution Architect

As a Senior Solution Architect at Rakuten Symphony, a Rakuten Group company, you will have the opportunity to lead the Orchestrator product line focusing on Cloud-native service orchestration. Your role will involve designing and developing the product strategy, prioritizing features, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions to customers. Responsibilities: - Product Development: - Oversee the product development lifecycle from a product management perspective. - Collaborate with engineering, design, and cross-functional teams to align product development with business goals and customer needs. - Define product requirements, create detailed roadmaps, and prioritize features and enhancements. - Requirements Management: - Review and analyze customer scope and requirements, translating them into Jira EPICs and user stories with clear descriptions, acceptance criteria, and business outcomes. - Manage the product backlog, provide timely inputs to the Engineering team, and evaluate technical feasibility. - Identify dependencies on other functions and modules. - Sprint Planning and Delivery Validation: - Align with the Engineering team to ensure timely delivery of features. - Review release artifacts and ensure delivery quality matches requirements and design. - Collaboration with Other Product Owners and Stakeholders: - Drive requirements towards other products for dependencies. - Highlight risks related to dependent features or requirements. - Product Pre-Sales Support: - Provide technical expertise to the sales team during pre-sales activities. - Prepare and deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and technical proposals to prospective clients. - Product Competitive Analysis Support: - Conduct competitive analysis to understand market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs. - Utilize insights from competitive analysis to inform product strategy and development. - Research and Innovation: - Continuously research emerging topics in Service Orchestration & Telco Automation space. - Propose changes to the existing architecture to incorporate new advancements. Requirements: - Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, or related field. - 15+ years of professional experience in product management and solution architecture. - Proven expertise in traditional and O-RAN architecture, technology, and use cases. - Experience in RAN solutions, AI/ML-based RAN analytics, policy-based automation, and more. - Strong background in RAN network function orchestration and cloud-native applications architecture. - Proficiency in designing and developing machine learning algorithms and deep learning applications. - Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence at senior management levels. - Relevant certifications in the RAN domain or Solution Architecture are a plus.
