Graduate Design Engineer

As a Structural Engineer in the Towers and Telecom department at Ramboll, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects related to steel and concrete structures. You will collaborate closely with your team members to design wind-affected structures like masts and towers. Key Responsibilities: - Perform static calculations for both large and small projects, with a focus on assessing and designing new structures. - Design mast and tower structures in steel and concrete for telecom projects, including tender and detailed designs. - Create designs and drawings for strengthening steel and concrete structures. - Assist senior engineers in delivering projects on time. - Have knowledge of fabrication and production drawings. Qualifications: - B. Tech or M. Tech in Structural Engineering. - Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in design work. - Proficiency in design standards such as IS 456, IS-875, IS 1893, IS-800, TIA-222G, and EN. - Proficient in modeling and designing steel and concrete structures using STAAD and/or ETabs software. - Skilled in CAD tools like AutoCAD or Zwcad. - Comprehensive technical knowledge in Structural Engineering. - Ability to work systematically and focus on assigned tasks. - Strong teamwork and communication skills in English, Hindi, and Telugu. - Knowledge of Telecom design software such as RISA/TNX Tower, MStower, ASMTower, and iTowersMW is preferred. Software Skills: - STAAD.
