Job Description As our new Senior designer - BIM you will be part of a world class, innovation driven engineering design center owned by an independent trust and its employees. REC is a highly sophisticated center of engineering excellence and based in our office in Bengaluru. Working in partnership with all our established offices globally, the Ramboll Engineering Centre (REC) is a center for excellence in design by offering optimized solutions to the rest of the organization. Your key tasks and responsibilities will be: Will coordinate with project managers and/or engineers for BIM modelling and drawing tasks in a given project. Will work on detailed drawings for a range of projects and mentor other members of the drafting team in accomplishing complex tasks. Is responsible for technical correctness and timely delivery of the drawings and 3D models with good quality Will assist the project team towards developing/implementing drafting standards. Will assist in improving the efficiency and productivity of the modelling and drafting team Exercises self-discipline and work ethics Respect and follow company policies and procedures Qualifications Diploma in Civil Engineering trained Professional with more than 5+ years of professional experience. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD Revit 2D 3D is essential, knowledge of European detailing and modelling standards would be desirable Experience in preparation of drawings for transportation projects such bridges (road, railway, metro etc.), retaining structures, etc. is must Experience in preparing General arrangement Drawings, Steel / Reinforcement detailing drawings, concrete and excavation 3D models and BOQs. Should have knowledge of concrete and structural steel detailing standards Must have experience on international projects Self-motivated, team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision Flexible attitude, in an environment with frequently changing deadlines can be relied on to meet deadlines Professional English language and communication skills Preference will be given to candidates with German language (read, write and speak) Disclaimer: This job posting has been aggregated from external source.
