ERP Manager

Manage and deliver large and complex ERP engagements to identify design, and implement creative business and technology solutions. Manage engagement risk, project economics, planning and budgeting, and accounts receivable. The candidate will be collaborating with senior managers to determine which business processes need optimization, and enhance the performance of our IT systems, and also deploy and implement suitable ERP solutions. He or she should exhibit extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure and the ability to resolve integration issues. An outstanding ERP specialist will be someone whose expertise translates into streamlined business processes and highly efficient human resources management. Job Skills ERP program managers require excellent oral and written communication skills because they must be able to disseminate crucial information about the organization s ERP initiative including ROI, financial predictions, database migration processes; they must also possess the ability to effectively train staff as well as prepare reports target for management, other IT professionals involved in the ERP initiative, and organization stakeholders. Supervisory and management abilities are crucial because program managers supervise other IT professionals as well as assuming responsibility for large-scale projects such as data migration and integrity. Strong knowledge of database systems and information technology infrastructures is necessary because ERP program managers are directly responsible for every aspect of the organization s ERP initiative as well as its data infrastructure. ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY The Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) Manager is responsible for the management and optimization of Internews ERP systems. The manager will play a central role in ensuring Internews ERP system is operating effectively, and will actively coordinate across multiple business administrative departments, as well as regularly engage end-users to improve the experience. This position requires strong knowledge of business process, project management skills and extensive experience designing and managing ERP systems Qualifications BE (IT), BSc(IT). Oral and written communication, time management, knowledge of database systems, supervisory ability, working knowledge of information technology infrastructure. Prior practical work experience in managing large-scale project management is required. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be added advantage.
