Role Overview: As a Hardware Support specialist, your primary responsibility will be to install and configure monitors, peripherals, and hardware components at user desks in an ergonomic manner. You will be in charge of managing cable routing, labeling, and organization to maintain a clutter-free environment and ensure safety. Your role also involves enabling new desks by assembling workstations, connecting power/data cables, and testing full functionality of network, USB, and display outputs. Key Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot hardware issues including faulty cables, monitor connectivity, or power problems, and perform necessary repairs or escalate when needed. - Inventory and deploy equipment such as monitors, docks, keyboards, mice, webcams, and cables for new hires or relocations, while coordinating with vendors for bulk orders. - Conduct quality checks, routine inspections, and user training or setups to prevent downtime and uphold standards. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency with tools like cable ties, sleeves, clips, trays, crimpers, and testers for bundling, routing, labeling, and securing cables without causing damage. - Ability to install monitors, docks, keyboards, mice, webcams, cables, power strips, and peripherals with precision, including mounting under desks and ensuring proper slack to avoid tension or snags. - Experience testing functionality post-setup, ensuring power, network, USB, and display connections operate seamlessly.
