Plant Manager

As a Plant Engineering expert, your main responsibility is to deliver a fully functional Hydro Power Plant to the customer as per the contract and within the allocated budget. This pivotal role starts from the Project Start Phase and continues through all phases until the end of the Warranty Period. You will collaborate with various teams to define and manage interfaces, ensuring project timelines are met while upholding the highest quality standards. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and lead initiatives for continuous process improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver a fully functional plant to the customer within the contract terms and budget constraints. - Focus on engineering activities required for the plant and interface management to ensure seamless integration of the water to wire plant. - Provide technical expertise and engineering solutions to meet additional plant requirements. - Efficiently manage interfaces to achieve a cohesive plant approach involving both company products and customer works. - Monitor cross-functional interfaces, identify discrepancies, and take timely corrective actions. - Manage general requirements common to all systems, such as design templates, KKS numbering system, design conditions, cabling, and instrumentation. - Issue guidelines and documents including project information, cubicle manufacturing guidelines, and guidelines for auxiliary devices. - Conduct design reviews for the overall plant, review documents such as SLDs and consumer lists, and manage design freeze and change requests. - Provide technical directives to the project team as needed to align with the plant concept. In addition to the responsibilities mentioned above, you should have a strong technical knowledge of Power Plants, preferably Hydro Power Plants. This includes a good understanding of Electrical and Mechanical Balance of Plant (EBoP) packages, SCADA systems, Turbines, and Generators. You will be required to clarify design details with customers, address their queries or concerns, and offer technical support to various cross-functional teams.
