Job Description We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and proactive Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in manual and automation testing , experience managing a small QA team, and a solid grasp of Selenium (with Python) , Cypress , or Playwright frameworks. Key Responsibilities Manual Testing Design, develop, and execute test cases in accordance with requirements and specifications. Perform regression, functional, integration, and system testing. Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution. Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to clarify requirements. Provide structured feedback on quality issues and product improvements. Automation Testing Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium (Python) , Cypress , or Playwright . Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines . Identify opportunities for automation to enhance test efficiency and coverage. Ensure automation scripts are robust, reusable, and well-documented. Team Management Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers. Establish and enforce QA best practices, processes, and standards. Oversee test planning, execution, and reporting for project releases. Key Skills Minimum 5 years of experience in QA, including 1–2 years managing a QA team . Proven expertise in automation testing (Selenium with Python, Cypress, or Playwright). Strong understanding of testing methodologies, QA processes, and SDLC. Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). Proven 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or similar role. Experience in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter , LoadRunner ) preferred. Knowledge of additional programming languages ( JavaScript , TypeScript ) is a plus. ISTQB certification or equivalent is an advantage.
