Mechanical Design Engineer

The Design Engineer will be responsible for performing 3D scanning, processing scan data, creating accurate CAD models through reverse engineering, preparing inspection reports, and supporting customers in product development and manufacturing projects. The ideal candidate should have strong CAD skills, an understanding of manufacturing processes, and an eye for detail. Role & responsibilities Perform 3D scanning of components using structured light or laser scanners. Set up scan markers, fixtures, and reference targets. Clean, align, merge, and optimize scan meshes. Convert scan data into editable CAD models. Create solid and surface models using CAD software. Compare scanned data with CAD models. Preferred candidate profile Passionate about engineering and product development. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously. Committed to meeting project deadlines. Experience in reverse engineering workflows. Ability to interpret complex mechanical components. Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
