About the role
Job Overview Ravan.ai is looking for a skilled Golang Developer (24 years experience) to join our engineering team and help build and scale production-grade distributed systems powering our real-time AI voice agents and sales automation platform. You will work on high-performance microservices that handle real-time conversations, agent orchestration, and multi-channel automation used by thousands of businesses. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy writing clean, reliable Go code, solving production challenges, and contributing to systems that run at meaningful scale. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Go (Golang)Build and optimize APIs and services using Gin and gRPCImplement background and asynchronous processing (e.g., with Asynq or similar)Work with PostgreSQL using GORM (or equivalent)Debug, analyze, and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and reliability problemsContribute to system architecture discussions and distributed systems designCollaborate with the broader engineering team to improve code quality, reliability, and scalabilityWrite clean, well-tested, and maintainable code following best practicesRequired Skills and Experience 24 years of professional experience with Go (Golang)Hands-on experience building APIs and services with Gin and/or gRPCWorking knowledge of GORM and PostgreSQLSolid understanding of microservices architectureExperience deploying and supporting systems in production environmentsGood grasp of system reliability, common failure modes, and performance considerationsBackend-focused engineer with basic infrastructure awareness (Docker, CI/CD, etc.)Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a teamPreferred Qualifications Experience with Resty or similar HTTP clientsFamiliarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelinesExposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)Basic understanding of observability (logging, metrics, tracing) and performance tuningAny experience integrating or supporting AI/ML systems in production is a plusKnowledge of distributed systems concepts (consistency, CAP theorem, etc.)Engagement Details Engagement Type: Full-timeWork Mode: On-site (New Delhi office) candidates from anywhere in India are welcome to apply and must be willing to relocate to New Delhi to work from the office every dayStart: ImmediateIf you enjoy building reliable, high-performance backend systems in Go and want to work on real-time AI infrastructure that delivers measurable business impact, wed love to hear from you.
