Technical Head

In this role as a Technical Head, you will be responsible for leading and driving technology strategy, architecture, and execution for healthcare domain projects. Your key responsibilities will include: - Defining and owning the overall technical architecture for healthcare applications and platforms. - Leading end-to-end solution design, including application architecture, data architecture, integration, and cloud infrastructure. - Providing technical leadership and governance across multiple healthcare projects. - Ensuring solutions comply with healthcare regulations and standards (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, GDPR, etc.). - Driving cloud adoption and modernization initiatives, including migration from legacy systems. - Reviewing and approving technical designs, code quality, security architecture, and deployment strategies. - Collaborating with business stakeholders to translate healthcare business requirements into technical solutions. - Mentoring and guiding architects, developers, and engineering teams. - Evaluating and recommending new technologies, tools, and frameworks relevant to healthcare and cloud ecosystems. - Ensuring high availability, scalability, performance, and security of systems. - Managing technical risks and ensuring best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, and automation. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Required Skills: Healthcare Domain: - Proven experience working on healthcare domain projects such as EHR/EMR, HIE, medical devices integration, claims, payer/provider systems, or digital health platforms. - Strong knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM). - Understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance requirements in healthcare. Technical Architecture: - Strong experience as a Technical / Solution Architect. - Expertise in microservices architecture, REST APIs, event-driven architecture. - Strong knowledge of system integration, messaging, and middleware. - Experience with scalable and high-performance system design. Cloud Architecture: - Hands-on experience with AWS / Azure / GCP (at least one, preferably multiple). - Expertise in: Cloud-native architecture, Containers (Docker, Kubernetes), Serverless computing, Cloud security and IAM. - Experience with cloud migration strategies and hybrid architectures. DevOps & Tools: - CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.). - Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates). - Monitoring and logging tools. - Experience with Agile methodologies. In addition to technical skills, preferred leadership & soft skills include: - Strong people management and technical leadership skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. - Ability to make architectural decisions and influence at senior leadership level. - Strategic mindset with hands-on problem-solving ability.
