Mechanical / HVAC Draftsman - Industrial Projects

Responsibilities Produce MEP design drawings as instructed by the MEP Engineer/ Team Leader. Produce ACAD and REVIT MEP drawings in accordance to Archetype standards. Coordinate drawing revisions and submissions in accordance with company established procedures. Undertake site visits to enable preparation of detailed drawings & schematic plans. Undertake a high standard of self-checking of drawings and documents produced, as well as assist, with internal quality assurance checking and procedures for work done by other staff. Liaise with project architects, other engineering disciplines, sub-consultants, government and local authorities, clients and other Archetype Group offices as required. Qualification - ITI/Diploma OR Degree qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. A mini 4+ years experience in MEP drafting. Advance knowledge of design software in relation to the MEP design including AutoCAD, Revit, Navis work, Dialux, Plant3D, and MS office. Intermediate knowledge of International Building Codes and Design Standards including environmental building standards (LEED and similar). Candidates with industrial project experience will be given high priority. Software: AutoCAD & Revit. Navis work, Dialux, Plant3D, and MS office.
