Engineer Intern

Role Overview: You will be part of a team building an internal AI platform at Rebel Foods, which is central to how the company operates. This role is early-stage, dynamic, and offers you the opportunity to shape the platform. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement features end-to-end, from conceptualization to production, using Python for the backend and React/TypeScript for the frontend. - Contribute to the LLM pipeline that translates plain-English queries into reliable, data-driven responses. - Create dashboards, visualizations, and proactive alerts that are user-friendly. - Prototype new functionalities and contribute to the platform's strategic direction. - Take ownership of your work, receiving rapid feedback from real users starting from day one. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, with the ability to quickly adapt to new frameworks. - Experience with SQL, including joins, GROUP BY, and data aggregation, with a keen eye for data accuracy. - Strong product sense, ensuring that solutions are not only functional but also serve their intended purpose accurately. - Self-motivated individual who treats documentation as a means to validate claims and can tackle obstacles independently. - Effective communication skills, capable of providing clear PR descriptions and asking precise questions in a small, busy team environment. - Proven track record of delivering projects from inception to completion.
