As an IT Manager in the stock broking industry, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of IT infrastructure, applications, trading platforms, compliance technology, and cybersecurity. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Manage and maintain end-to-end IT infrastructure including servers, firewalls, networks, and cloud services. - Troubleshoot application or connectivity issues that impact order placement or risk management. - Ensure IT systems comply with SEBI, NSE, BSE, NSDL, and CDSL regulations. - Lead periodic audits such as IT, cybersecurity, and Exchange inspections, and maintain documentation. - Implement cybersecurity protocols including data backup, DR drills, and endpoint protection. - Coordinate with vendors for trading software, back-office systems, telecom, and cloud services. - Oversee AMC and SLA agreements, license renewals, and IT budgeting. - Handle integrations with APIs for algo trading, client onboarding (KYC), and CRM. - Lead a small team of IT support staff and engineers. - Manage IT helpdesk for internal users and frontline trading desks and provide training/support for the adoption of digital tools. - Support digital transformation projects and evaluate new technologies relevant to broking and fintech to enhance user experience. - Possess strong knowledge of stock broking platforms, market APIs, RMS systems, SEBI/Exchange IT circulars, and cybersecurity frameworks. - Hands-on experience with networking, Linux/Windows servers, and cloud platforms like AWS/Azure. - Previous work experience in a stock broking firm, depository participant, NSE, and BSE.
