Role Overview: At Kyndryl, as a member of the Database Administration team, you will play a crucial role in managing and administering the core technological infrastructure of the company. Your responsibilities will include configuring, installing, and maintaining database management systems to ensure optimal performance. You will also be in charge of user access management and implementing high-security standards to safeguard valuable data. Additionally, you will be responsible for disaster recovery planning, capacity planning, and collaborating with various teams to align database projects with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: - Configure, install, and maintain database management systems - Manage user access and implement security measures to protect data - Develop backup and recovery plans for disaster recovery - Support end users and application developers in solving complex database-related issues - Implement policies to safeguard data from external threats - Conduct capacity planning and growth projections based on system usage - Coordinate database project plans with other teams - Propose and implement enhancements to improve system performance and reliability Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5+ years of experience in Oracle Database Monitoring and Maintenance with domain certification - Oracle Certification - Experience in database backup, restoration, and day-to-day management activities in RAC environment - Proficiency in replication of databases, import/export of data, and applying patches - Knowledge of conducting DR drills and implementing Oracle Security products - Expertise in database tuning, performance tuning, and query optimization - Preferred experience in automation, vulnerability management, and AD FS with Microsoft AD or Azure AD Additional Company Details (if applicable): At Kyndryl, we value inclusivity and diversity, welcoming individuals from all cultures, backgrounds, and experiences.
