As an Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst at our company, you will play a crucial role in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs. Your primary objective will be to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. Preferred Experience: - 6-8 years of overall development work experience. - 2-5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry. - Building scalable Java J2EE RESTful Web service applications with Angular 6+ as UI technology. - Experience in Spring/Spring-Boot/Hibernate. - Proficiency in Agile methodologies. - Experience in writing JUnit and Karma test cases. - Familiarity with Autosys, JIRA, BitBucket/Git, Eclipse, Visual Code. - Knowledge of Enterprise Container Service. - Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL. - Good to have experience in the Linux/UNIX environment and scripts. - Ability to work on parallel development tracks simultaneously. - Experience in leading/mentoring smaller development teams. - Adherence to the SDLC process and ensuring others follow the process. - Root cause analysis skills with the ability to quickly analyze and interpret code. - Prior experience in coding, development, and testing of programs & modules. Key Accountabilities/Duties: - Designing and building solutions for a global application within the Compliance group. - Supporting in defining and gathering regional requirements. - Collaborating with the offshore development team to define a relevant solution design. - Applying internal standards for re-use, architecture, testing, and best practices. - Full Software Development Lifecycle responsibilities including Code reviews, test case reviews, and ensuring code developed meets the requirements. - Implementing user stories end to end with code changes in different layers along with automated unit test cases. Qualifications: - 2-5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry. - Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role. - Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. - Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and unexpected changes in expectations or requirements. Mandatory Tech Skills: - Angular 6 or above. - Spring/Spring-Boot/Hibernate. - Javascript. - HTML5. - CSS (Less, Bootstrap). Education: - Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience. As an additional requirement, you should have good knowledge of Angular, be familiar with the Agile model, possess basic knowledge of Java code, have a basic understanding of Oracle SQL queries, and be experienced in the Banking Domain.
